The ADHD Association is a non- profit organisation founded in 1977. The purpose of the Association is to help and support members and all those involved with the care, management, upbringing and education of ADHD people, from childhood through to adulthood.

We are committed to relieving the distress and difficulties of families by increasing public awareness and understanding of the nature and cause of ADHD.

Membership of the ADHD Association provides contact and support from others with ADHD, people who understand from experience and do not judge.

The Association provides members with information and referrals, counselling, access to support groups, quarterly newsletters and speaker's evenings.  There is also contact on a 1:1 basis for individual support.

Membership also gives access to the Association’s large resource library of books, videos, tapes and articles built up over many years. We have up to date material from all over the world from a wide variety of reputable sources.

The Association supplies information on many aspects of ADHD including – treatments, management, research and in particular information on local resources e.g. specific tests, diets, diagnosis and remedial programmes.
